Jason Kelly, Connor Tresham, and Zach Pilote combined for 14 scoring points as the Rangers defeated Upper Canada 10-4 tonight at the new arena at Upper Canada College. North York rolled to a 4-1 first period lead and added 5 in the second and one more in the 3rd for the win. The big line got things going early as Kelly scored from Tresham and Pilote at the 37 second mark.Wise, who had a 3 point night, made it 2-0 from Chris Dixon at 1:45.UCC made it 2-1 but goals from Tresham and Pilote made it 4-1 by the end of the first. Dylan Stone,on a penalty shot, Kelly, Pilote, Eric Desjardins, and Wise,with his second, made it 9-3 at the end of two. Kelly closed out the scoring at 1:48 of the 3rd from Tresham, his 5th assist of the night, and Clark West.Referees Joel Barron and Ed Black called only 11 minor penalties. Next game for the Rangers is Sunday afternoon at the Carnegie as they play the Collingwood Blues who trail North York by 7 points for 5th place.
