The North York Rangers broke open a scoreless tie after one period by firing 4 -2nd period goals on their way to a 5-2 win over the Orangeville Crushers this afternoon at the Carnegie Arena. Anthony Bergin opened the scoring at 1:37 from Andrew Amodeo and Connor Tresham. Tresham scored the next 2 goals just over a minute apart. His 1st from Brendan Wise and Martin Greenaway at 7:11 and his second at 8:34 from Mike Mazzulla. Rookie Jason Kelly finished off the scoring at 18:12 from Amodeo and Tresham who picked up his 4th point of the period.
The Crushers opened the scoring in the 3rd at 1:13 but Kelly scored his 2nd of the game from Nunziato Fattore to make it 5-1. A late Orangeville goal made it 5-2 but that ended the scoring.
