North York Rangers Jett Alexander was named Ontario Junior Hockey League’s goalie of the month for October.

The 19-year-old put up incredible numbers going 12-0-0-1 with a 1.08 goals against average, a .966 save percentage and six shutouts. During that span, the team registered a shutout streak that lasted just over 13 periods or 260 minutes and 19 seconds to be exact. He also was a key cog in the team starting an impressive winning streak that currently stands a 13 games.
“It’s a nice accomplishment but I think a lot of it goes to our defence and forwards doing a great job defensively,” Jett said. “The boys in front have been unbelievable in not giving up many chances and I think we do a good job of feeding off of each other and it gives us all confidence!”
