The 2012-2013 season has finally arrived and as head coach I could not be happier with the direction this team is heading in. I walk into Herbert Carnegie Arena and I am instantly reminded of the pride and rich tradition of the North York Rangers organization. This year’s coaching staff and players understand more than ever the responsibility we have to respect and uphold the legacy of the storied Rangers franchise. As a collective, we are excited for the prospect of a very successful season. We have assembled a team that has a healthy mix of skill and grit, but more importantly a group that understands how to compete. We look forward to being a force in this year’s new trimmed down, and competitive OJHL, and look forward to living up to the standards set by those before us.
