For the second time in a row North York forward Liam Kerins has been named OJHL South first star of the week by the IntheO radio blog.
Though the Caledon native had his 11-game point-scoring streak snapped on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Trenton, he replied with five goals in the last two games and now has 24 points in his last 14 contests.
Gabriel Valenzuela also earned honours, being named the division’s second star for Week 19 after dominating the face-off dot all week and posting seven points in the last four games.
On a line along with Zachary Fung, the trio have been outstanding as a unit and still await college commitments.
