The North York Rangers traded for defenceman Connor Rudderham from the Burlington Cougars for cash considerations.

The 17-year-old has recorded two assists in 17 games with the Burlington Cougars this season. The Oakville, Ont., native was recently drafted fifth overall by the Sagniaw Spirit OHL U18 Priority Selection.

The first chance for Rudderham to dress for North York will be this Saturday on road against the Mississauga Chargers.
