The Rangers scored five times in the first, and then cruised for an 8-5 victory over Milton at the Governor’s Challenge in Cobourg on Saturday.
Jacob Keogh made 39 saves, including 29 in the first two periods, to preserve his second career win.
Mississauga-native Austin Galli scored his first goal as a Ranger, while five separate North York players had multi-point outings.
North York is back in action Sunday afternoon, home to the St. Mike’s Buzzers.
