North York Rangers minor midget forward Ben Garagan has committed to the Sudbury Wolves for the 2015-16 Ontario Hockey League season.
Garagan, 16, scored 26 goals and added 44 points in 45 games for the Rangers minor midgets last season, and his success prompted the Wolves to take the North Bay, ONT. native with the 85th overall pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Draft.
His speed and offensive ability also earned him four games with the NYR midgets last year, including two post-season contests, though he failed to record a point in those games.
Garagan was one of two Rangers minor midgets to be drafted by the OHL after this past campaign, as the Mississauga Steelheads took goaltender Jett Alexander in the 12th round.
