After an impressive sophomore season, North York Rangers forward Cole O’Hara earned a spot on the OJHL 1st Team All-Prospect Team.
O’Hara has been a top talent in the OJHL for the entire season, including the playoffs. He scored 64 points (21 G/43 A) during the regular season and has a team-leading 8 points (3 G/5 A) in their most recent playoffs series win over the Toronto Junior Canadiens. During the 2019-20 season, O’Hara won the OJHL South/East Warrior Player of the month in November, was named as an All-Star Prospect in the OJHL All-Star Celebration and was selected to play in the CJHL Top Prospects Game.
He also won silver with the Team Canada East at this season’s World Jr. A Challenge this past December. In just two seasons in the OJHL, he has already scored a commitment to NCAA Division 1 University of Massachusetts (Amherst) for the 2021-22 season.
Last year the forward was named to the OJHL 2nd Team All-Prospect Team after posting 11 goals and 31 assists for 42 points in 53 games as a 16-year-old.
O’Hara continues to be the driving force of the Rangers. His skills and vision are like no other in the OJHL. The Toronto, Ont., native is averaging just over a point per game in the OJHL with 32 goals and 74 assists for 106 points in just 104 games.
