The North York Rangers acquired Mississauga Chargers Brandon Yeamans for forward Matteo Pecchia on Thursday December 27th.
The 20-year-old has been tearing up the Ontario Junior Hockey League in his final season. He currently sits seventh in league scoring with 47 points (20 goals, 26 assists) in 32 games.
This marks only the second time Yeamans will be dressing for a non Mississauga team. He developed through the Reps system, and played 11 games for the Stealheads of the OHL. In 165 career games with the Chargers, the Maple, Ont., native recorded 55 goals and 92 assists for 147 points in 165 games. He sits fifth in games played and seventh in points in Chargers history.

The No.10 Rangers sits first in the South Division with 58 points, which is the second best record in the league.
Yeamans gets his first chance to play for his new team, on Saturday (Dec. 28) night against the Toronto Junior Canadiens.
