The North York Rangers have acquired Brandon Gaudette from the Orangeville Flyers, the club announced the Tuesday.
Gaudette, 20, is a 6-foot, 200-pound forward who hails from Angus, ON, and has six goals and 11 points in 23 games so far this season.
He missed time at the beginning of the campaign with injury.
“Brandon is a hard-working, two-way player,” said one scout.
“He is defensively sound but brings in a nice touch of offence. It’s a nice pickup for the Rangers.”
The move comes two days before the Friday morning trade deadline.
Gauette looks to make his Rangers debut on Saturday night as North York travels to Georgetown to take on the Raiders.
