Zachary Fung paced North York with two points, including the game-winning goal, as the Rangers edged the Hamilton Red Wings 2-1 on Monday night.

The victory snapped a three-game losing skid.

Mike Giacometti opened the scoring on the power play at 4:45 of the first period, snapping short side off the rush.

Fung then converted a well executed two-on-one with Liam Kerins at 8:04 of the second, snapping home a perfect pass back-door.

Christian Zanetti assisted on Fung’s goal for his first career point.

The Rangers are next in action on Saturday evening when they take on the Chargers in Mississauga.
