Rangers edge the Mississauga Chargers 4-3

Corey Kalk extended his multi-point scoring streak to nine games and John Carpino has points in 13 of his last 14 contests as the Rangers edged the Mississauga Chargers 4-3 on Saturday.

Adam Valadao has a goal in each of his three games since returning from injury on Dec. 28.

With two helpers on the night, Patrick Piacentini moved into second in the league in assists, and third in points among defencemen.

North York now sits third place in the division, four points ahead of fourth-place Oakville.

The Rangers are next in action on Sunday afternoon as they host the Milton Redhawks, puck drops at 3:00 pm.
