Rangers fall short in Whitby

Matthew Whittaker and Corey Kalk each notched their first goals of the season, but it was not enough as the North York Rangers fell 6-2 to the Whitby Fury Tuesday night.

Alex Leader also had his first points in Ranger blue with two assists while Patrick Piacentini got his third helper of the season.

Jason Pucciarelli made 46 saves on the evening while North York went 1-for-8 with the man advantage.

The Rangers will look to bounce back on Sunday afternoon when they take on the Mississauga Chargers at the Herb, puck drops at 3:00 p.m.
