Corey Kalk scored his 16th of the season, but it was not enough as the Rangers fell 2-1 in overtime in a rare low-scoring affair in Orangeville.

Flyers goaltender Taylor Welsh shut the door time and again as North York outshot the hosts 43-23, but could not find that second goal.

After his long point-scoring streak was broken in Buffalo on Nov. 14, Kalk has begun a new one with tonight’s goal moving him to three games.

John Carpino assisted on the goal, and now has 17 points in his last eight games.
