Graduated North York Rangers forward Adam Valadao has committed to Curry College to play for the Colonels in the Eastern College Athletic Conference of the NCAA Division III circuit for next season.

Valadao, 20, played four full seasons with the Rangers and amassed 155 regular-season points and 33 playoff points over that span.

A native of Ajax, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound face-off ace led North York in assists lasty ear with 40, while also earning a career high in goals (21). He was especially crucial in the Rangers’ run to the Southwest Conference final in the 2012-13 campaign, posting 20 points in 18 contests while centering the club’s top line between John Carpino and Corey Kalk.

Valadao’s commitment comes five days after North York defender Kyle Thacker confirmed his intention to join SUNY Potsdam next season. It is the seventh commitment to an American post-secondary institution from last season’s rendition of the Rangers.

Curry College is located in Milton, MA, a town just south of Boston.
