Captain Patrick Piacentini led the way with two goals and four points as the North York Rangers scored five times in the third period to down the Mississauga Chargers 5-1 on Saturday night.

John Carpino also added four points on a night in which the Rangers outshot the Chargers 36-14 and pressed from start to finish.

Midget call-up Kyle Clarke recorded his first two points in a Ranger uniform and Gianluca Baggetta made 13 saves to record his sixth victory of the season.

Corey Kalk scored a goal and added a helper, earning his fifth multi-point outing of the campaign.

Tye Campbell made his North York debut after being acquired from Milton on Oct. 22.

The Rangers have allowed only five goals in the last three games and look to make it three wins in a row on Sunday afternoon when they host the Orangeville Flyers, puck drops at 3:00 p.m. at the Herb.
