Adam Valadao scored twice and added an assist as the Rangers closed out the regular season with a 5-2 victory in Hamilton.

John Carpino’s remarkable campaign ended with a goal and an assist and his totals have been capped at 42 goals and 81 points in 54 games to sit third in overall league scoring.

Corey Kalk also pitched in with two assists to place him in fifth in league scoring with 78 points in 52 games.

Patrick Simmonds and Austin Galli had the other goals for the Rangers, who complete the regular season with a record of 33-14-8 and a point total of 74.

North York will now have to do some scoreboard watching in order to learn their first-round playoff opponent, with their likely conference seeding being fourth heading into the post-season (stay tuned for a potential playoff outlook later today).
