The North York Rangers are proud to announce that Ross Krieger has committed to the University of Toronto. The forward will play for the Varsity Blues hockey team starting in the fall of 2019.
The 20-year-old currently sits second on the team with 16 goals and 35 points. Krieger was acquired from the Georgetown Raiders along with goaltender Jett Alexander during the team’s rebuild in the 2016-17 season. Since the moment he put on the Rangers jersey, the Pain Court, Ont., native has slowly developed into a true offensive threat. In 124 career-games with North York, Krieger has registered 51 goals, 58 assists for 109 points.
“I committed to U of T because how good the education I will receive is and the opportunity to play at the next level for another four years.”
He will be reunited with former teammate Kyle Clarke, who’s currently in his rookie season with the Blues in U SPORTS.
