Stockie, Alexander get invites to 2018 World Jr. A Selection Camp for Canada East

North York Rangers forward Ashton Stockie and Jett Alexander were invited to the 2018 World Jr. A Selection Camp for Canada East.

Alexander represented Canada East in last year’s tournament. So far this season the 19-year-old leads the Ontario Junior A Hockey League with 18 wins and an 1.65 goals against average, while sitting second with a .944 save percentage.

Stockie has turned heads since coming over to the North York Rangers in the summer that sent defenceman Peter Muzyka the other way. In only 18 games, the 19-year-old registered 18 points (seven goals, 11 assists).

Training camp will take place from December 2-4 at the MasterCard Centre in Etobicoke, Ont. After the final cuts, team opening up the tournament against Russia on Sunday December 6th in Bonnyville Alberta.
