Adam Valadao and Liam Kerins each notched three points as the North York Rangers reached fourth place in the Southwest Conference for the first time this campaign by hanging on for a 4-2 victory Monday night in Buffalo.
The line of Valadao, Kerins and John Carpino now has 38 combined points in the last five games.
Carpino also added two points while Jason Pucciarelli made 31 saves and has won back-to-back games for the first time this season.
He has not given up more than two goals in a game since Oct. 20, a span of seven starts.
Corey Kalk scored his first goal since returning from the World Junior A Challenge and Zachary Fung added a helper to follow up his hat trick performance in yesterday’s win over Oakville.
North York is next in action on Nov. 23 when they travel to Mississauga to take on the Chargers, puck drops at 8 p.m.
