Trenton downs North York in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

The Trenton Golden Hawks pulled out a 5-4 (OT) overtime victory over the North York Rangers on a clutch goal by Liam Morgan.

Trenton’s offense rang up 38 shots on North York’s net. The Golden Hawks struggled on the penalty kill, allowing the Rangers to score two power play goals on three chances. Trenton’s normally stingy defense allowed more goals than usual. The Golden Hawks are averaging 1.7 goal against for the season.

Trenton additionally got points from Jordan Chard, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Trenton included Jordan DaSilva, Danny Hanlon, and Curtis Harvey, who each put in one. In addition, Trenton received assists from Quinn Lenihan, who had one, Mitch Emerson, who had two, and Adam Clements, who had three.
